Our team was founded by Jeffrey Pitts (President) & Willie Harden (Vice-President) in 2005. We currently have 12 real estate agents on board, with over 50 years of combined real estate experience! Our team has received several prestigous awards over it's four years, the most recognized of which was being acknowledged by The Wall Street Journal and LORE Magazine in 2007 & 2008 as being among the Top 200 Real Estate Teams in North America. I spent 24 years serving as an elementary teacher, counselor and principal in the Hardin County School system. Darrin Jaquess Sales Associate Jeffrey J. Pitts and Associates. I attended Thornton’s Real Estate Academy and obtained my real estate license in 2010 and joined RE/MAX in April. Prior to becoming a Real Estate Professional, I spent some time in Mortgage Industry as well as construction. I reside in Hardin County and have 3 fine young sons that are actively involved in soccer and basketball. I am actively involved in local sports programs, through coaching and serving on various boards of directors. I graduated from North Hardin High School in 1990; there I was All District, All Region, All State and Honorable Mention All American Basketball Player. I went on to college to play basketball at Sullivan University in Louisville and obtained a degree in Business Management. From my experience of playing basketball I learned and practiced dedication, devotion and hard work and will apply these same principles when helping you with your real estate needs.

Jay Pitts Sales Associate Jeffrey J. Pitts and Associates Team. I was first licensed to sell Real Estate in 2004 immediately after graduating from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY. After several successful years as an originator for one of the country’s top Mortgage Lenders I made the transition to Real Estate full time. Over the past several years I have cultivated a few unique talents that have allowed me to carve out a very rewarding niche market for myself. My history in Property Management and Mortgage Lending prepared me very well to become someone who specializes in liquidation of Bank Foreclosed Property. I specialize in this area along with investment real estate, however, a large part of my business is also done by referral. I really enjoy helping young people (like myself) buy and sell their first home. It is a unique and gratifying experience that helps me enjoy every day I spend in this business.

Terry Spalding Sales Associate Jeffrey J. Pitts and Associates Team. I'm a CPA, MBA who, after a career in finance, have worked as a Realtor for five years. A graduate of Georgetown College and the University of Louisville, I've lived in Louisville, Lexington and southern Indiana, but have adopted Hardin County as my home for the past 20 years. My wife and I have three children who graduated from local schools and established professional careers, and my wife taught in Meade County and currently teaches in Hardin County. A Vietnam veteran, I like to travel and am a sports fan who bowls, plays golf, and coached youth basketball and soccer for many years. Community involvement is important to me - I'm enthusiastic about local athletics and music, singing in the Heart of Kentucky Men's Chorus, of which I am a founding member. Due to my background in accounting, I'm detail oriented and because of my interest in providing individual service to all clients, have established lasting relationships with many of them. I enjoy helping people find a new home or sell an existing one and, like humorist Will Rogers, “I never met a man [or woman] I didn't like”.
